Infant Introduction to CLASS Training

Trainings are open to any site leaders or teachers who are participating in VQB5 in the 2025-2026 program year.

Gain an understanding of the CLASS framework, its various uses, and the teacher-child interactions that support children’s learning. This program provides an overview of the CLASS domains and dimensions, various uses of the CLASS tool, and the importance of effective teacher-child interactions.

Trainings are designed to help participants learn about effective teacher-child interactions and the ways these interactions help children learn. Your instructor will provide an overview of the CLASS tool and its domains and dimensions. Training will include video examples for each dimension as well as activities to engage participants.

Training participants will receive:

• Training materials, including a CLASS Dimensions Guide and Introduction to CLASS Tool Participant Guide
• Includes 2-month access to online content via the TeachStone platform
• Certificate of completion for learning hours
