The Childcare Accessibility Dashboard is designed to provide information on the early childhood landscape in Danville and Pittsylvania County. The Dashboard contains data on community demographics, childcare enrollment capacity, location of provider sites, and services provided are accessible through an easy-to-use filter.

This dashboard is updated quarterly through the support of community partners.

The next step for the dashboard is to use the information and feedback from partners to spur conversation amongst change initiators to ensure that every child under the age of five has equable access to high quality care. High quality childcare has been shown to increase school readiness and is linked to economic growth.
